Our colour specialists are among the best in the country when it comes to hair colour.  They have worked hard to gain the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Specialist degree which recognises their skill and expertise in understanding your hair and what can be achieved using the most up to date hair colours and techniques.

As part of our service, we will offer you a complimentary hair colour consultation where we can discuss the look you want us to create.  We will advise on the best hair colours and hair colour techniques to ensure you walk out of our salon with the most amazing hair colour.

Whether it’s the latest ombre or balayage colour or highlights to brighten up your hair colour, our colour experts are waiting to bring a new dimension to your hair style. We can also cover up grey hair and tackle root regrowth with regular follow-up hair colour appointments.

Please note:  A patch test is required 48 hours prior to all colour services to ensure there are no allergies. This is compulsory for your safety.  All colour services must also be finished with a blow dry or cut and finish and we may charge extra for long and/or thick hair.

Ammonia-Free Hair Colour

L’Oréal INOA is a fantastic 100% ammonia-free hair colour that is much kinder to your hair and scalp. INOA comes in 52 different shades and can lighten your hair up to three levels and completely cover white hair.

Here at The House of Hush, we use industry-leading technology when creating your bespoke colour, combined with the highest quality L'Oreal Paris Professional hair colouring technologies. 

Every gram is weighed and automatically updated to your salon file and pending invoice.  This allows us to reduce waste along with keeping a precise record of all products used, allowing us to produce the same or something different each time. 

Weighing the products will from time to time create an extra colour charging which you will be informed of by your stylist when this is applicable. This allows us to only charge the recipient.

Appointments exceeding the allocated duration of time will incur an extra charged for every 15 minutes. Your stylist will make you aware of any charges during your appointment.

A patch test is required 48 hours before all colour services to ensure there are no allergies.

All colour services must be finished by either a blow dry or cut & finish.

What is your privacy lounge?

First introduced way back in 2015 due to demand, our private lounge has been going from strength to strength ever since. From humble beginnings and just a few space-dividing curtains to its very own dedicated private salon area - the perfect space for clients who require privacy during their salon visit.

Do you have late night opening at Hush Hair?

We're open until 8pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays with more regular hours for the remainder of the week. Please check our contact page for detailed hours.

How often should I book a top-up appointment?

We recommend booking every 6-8 weeks to maintain your hair colour. This can vary however, depending on which hair colour service you have. Your stylist can provide more information during you appointment.
